For kitchen & furniture makers

Let customers design made-to-measure furniture in 3D, priced as they go.

Wardrobes, kitchens, shelving and bespoke pieces: exact dimensions, door styles, finishes, handles and internal layouts, rendered in real time and priced by your own rules. Customers commit with confidence; your workshop gets an exact spec.

Sound familiar?

Why made-to-order is hard to sell online.

  • 01

    Design visits are expensive

Every home visit or showroom consultation costs hours, and many never turn into an order.

  • 02

Choices are hard to imagine together

A door style, a colour, a handle and a worktop can each look great on their own. Customers need to see them together before they commit.

  • 03

    Measured orders invite mistakes

One wrong dimension on a made-to-measure piece means a remake and a delayed installation.

What your customers configure

Built around how kitchens & furniture are really specified.

Every option, dimension and rule comes from your product catalogue. Typical examples:

  • Made-to-measure widths, heights and depths
  • Door styles, finishes and colours
  • Handles and hardware
  • Worktops, panels and plinths
  • Internal layouts: drawers, shelves and rails
  • Modular units that snap together
  • Rules for what your workshop can build
  • Cut lists and specs for production

Built on our own engine

Every configurator we build runs on our own engine. Parametric sizing, material libraries, rules, live pricing, share links and AR are already built and tested, so your project starts most of the way there, not from zero.

FAQ

Kitchens & furniture configurators: your questions.

Something we haven’t covered? Ask us on a free call, or email info@experts3d.com.

Can customers plan a whole room, or just one piece?

Both are possible. A single made-to-measure piece, such as a wardrobe, makes a quick and affordable pilot. Whole-room planning with modular units is a bigger build that follows once the pilot has proved itself.

Can it produce a cut list or spec for our workshop?

Yes. Because every dimension and option is known, the configurator can generate the spec, parts list or cut list your workshop works from, alongside the customer’s quote.

Will it work with our online shop?

Yes. We embed configurators in Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress and custom sites, and can add the configured product straight to your existing basket and checkout.

How much does a 3D product configurator cost?

A pilot on one product line starts from £6,000. A full production configurator typically costs £25,000 to £75,000, depending on how many products and options you have, how complex your pricing rules are, and which systems it connects to. Every project has a fixed price, agreed before we start.

How long does it take?

A pilot is usually live in 3 to 4 weeks. A full production configurator takes 6 to 12 weeks. Your proposal includes a fixed timeline with clear milestones.

We don’t have 3D models. Is that a problem?

Not at all. 3D art is done in-house: we build optimised, realistic models from your CAD files, technical drawings, or photos and measurements of your products.
