For window & door manufacturers

Let customers design their windows and doors in 3D, priced as they click.

Sizes, styles, frame colours inside and out, glazing and hardware, all rendered in real time on your website and checked against what your factory can make. Homeowners and installers get certainty; you get complete, accurate orders.

Sound familiar?

Why made-to-order is hard to sell online.

  • 01

    Too many combinations to photograph

Dozens of frame colours, glazing options and hardware finishes multiply into thousands of combinations. No brochure or gallery can show them all.

  • 02

    Wrong specs are expensive

A misread size or the wrong handle finish means a remake. Every error costs materials, fitting time and goodwill.

  • 03

    Customers compare three quotes

Buyers shop around. The supplier who lets them see and price their exact design first is the one they come back to.

What your customers configure

Built around how windows & doors are really specified.

Every option, dimension and rule comes from your product catalogue. Typical examples:

  • Made-to-measure widths and heights
  • Casement, sash, tilt & turn, bifold and French styles
  • Frame colours, inside and out
  • Glazing, glazing bars and decorative glass
  • Handles, hinges and letterplates
  • Sills, trickle vents and add-ons
  • Size and style rules from your own system
  • Instant pricing and a complete order spec

Built on our own engine

Every configurator we build runs on our own engine. Parametric sizing, material libraries, rules, live pricing, share links and AR are already built and tested, so your project starts most of the way there, not from zero.

FAQ

Windows & doors configurators: your questions.

Something we haven’t covered? Ask us on a free call, or email info@experts3d.com.

Can the configurator show our real frame colours and finishes?

Yes. We match your RAL colours, woodgrain foils and hardware finishes from your samples and specifications, so what customers see is what you make.

Can orders go straight into our systems?

Each finished configuration can be sent to your inbox, CRM or order system as a structured spec with sizes, options and price. If your manufacturing software accepts an import, we can output the format it needs.

Is it for homeowners or for trade customers?

Either, or both. A trade configurator can show trade prices behind a login and skip the explanations; a homeowner version leads with visuals and reassurance. Both can share the same product rules.

How much does a 3D product configurator cost?

A pilot on one product line starts from £6,000. A full production configurator typically costs £25,000 to £75,000, depending on how many products and options you have, how complex your pricing rules are, and which systems it connects to. Every project has a fixed price, agreed before we start.

How long does it take?

A pilot is usually live in 3 to 4 weeks. A full production configurator takes 6 to 12 weeks. Your proposal includes a fixed timeline with clear milestones.

We don’t have 3D models. Is that a problem?

Not at all. 3D art is done in-house: we build optimised, realistic models from your CAD files, technical drawings, or photos and measurements of your products.
